Do we need to propagate our religion? Should the religions try to have the upper hand over other religions?

All religions teaching are basically the same, no need to dominate each other. Equality is the path to peaceful co-existence. Preacher, monk, ayatollah, bishop, imam, and priest...Cheer!!!

absolutly right my friend. That is what i think about all the religions. They are just same thing, packed in different wrapers.

Exactly! Based on my vigorous reading of most the holy books of religion, most significant difference is the name of God the faithful used to address him. Major parts of them are mostly great teaching to men.

There never be one supreme religion (unless God wants it so), I think those religions who try to propagate theirs are more keen on their revenues (networking) rather than "evangelism".

The majority of mainstream religions already do that which is where a good chunk of the negative issues comes from..I personally think that ALL RELIGIONS and RELIGIOUS LEADERS should promote EQUALITY rather than trying to one up each other...

hi there, sid26484.. in relation to your question, i think many of us would say "to each his own." whatever you believe in, that is between you and God alone. we cannot judge one another and we cannot expect everyone to agree with us all of the time -- especially no atters considering grace. thank you for your encouraging and timely messages 'tol.. pray palagi and press on!

I think we should all seek the truth and then there would be only one true religion and then we should propagate the truth. Those who love the truth would be united in love and peace. Shalom!
