Thats good at least youre reunited. You wont be feeling sad there. Its ok to leave our country because theres really limited job opportunities here.Whats good is there are still many people that would like to go back to the philippines.

I have lived in my country for 37 years of my life, I have no plans to leave my country, apart from travelling, I long to visit countries like New Zealand and Sweden in my lifetime, but I would never consider moving to another country, I am too set in my ways and I would feel like a fish out of water, I know a lot of people retire to warmer climates which is acceptable, who knows when I get to retirement age a little place in the sun might be considered but until then I am happy where I am.

I have no plans of leaving the country also. If ever, it will be just for vacation and to visit relatives living abroad. But like you, I like it here and will probably stay here till the day I die. ^-^

i am still not sure about leaving this country or not, it'll all depend on where this country is heading under the administration of the up coming President/s of this country.
we are a very hard working people and foreigners knew that we Filipinos are the most hospitable and the most hard working people here on the planet, but with the way the Government is heading for us. Ordinary people like us, would rather take the risk of going out of the country in search for greener pastures for the sake of their families.
my father who is an OFW for almost 25 years, is still working abroad cause he knows that there will be no progress here as an employee.
that is the sad fact that the government should take into account. Doctors are leaving this country to become nurses in Canada, the United States and in some European countries resulting in limited Doctors who will take care of those who are sick and dying.

Yes, I do that's why I took up nursing as my course. I want to work outside the Philippines since its very hard to earn here. But I don't want to leave outside the Philippines, I still want to raise my child here since our values are far better than living outside the Philippines.

I hope so too since I was able to work here in the Philippines for more than 3 years now and I have a child to raise but I really prefer that she grow up here since our values are more intact here rather than children growing up abroad.

Yes, I have future plans of leaving our country but for vacation purposes only. I'm not really in favor of Filipinos leaving the country to work for foreigners. Some of them are even professional who would go abroad just to be domestic helpers. I think it is really degrading for us. Why should other countries benefit from our expertise while our country has a great lack of professionals.

Before i never dream to work outside or leave the country where i am in. I am very much contented of my life here and the place is good. But time goes by i realize that there are things that i can't afford to have or things that i can't able to do if i am just depending on my monthly income. THings are getting expensive now like water, light, clothes, foods and even fare. So i decided to work abroad. And currently i am processing my papers now and hopefully i can leave this june.

I used to say that I don't want to leave my country 9 years ago. Who would when you already have a stable job. But the winds of change blew and I realized that living abroad can actually do a lot of things. It can make a person mature, confident, independent and open to a lot of ideas. You also get to know more and appreciate your own country when you get experience other cultures.
