what shampoo and conditioner do you use on your shih tzu?

i have a female shih tzu named kylie. she's 2 yrs old now. i use different brands of shampoo on her. i used alpo shampoo. but now im using human shampoo and i think it's too harsh because her hair is dry and hard to brush. i also found a spray, but i have read somwhere that as a substitute from spray, we can mix conditioner w/ water, what do you think about it?

i have a lhaso apso almost the same thing and i wash him in an oatmeal bath, it's good for dry skin and itching and scratching. i wouldn't put any detergent human shampoo on any dog, even the moisturizing stuff only lasts a few day's, plus the conditioner put a waxy film on the hair. but i live in florida so i guess it also has to do with where you live and the weather conditions, north or south and mostly the moisture content of the area where you live. anything smelly and sweet will bring insects to the dog unless he or she is a house dog, mines outside all the time chasing armadillo's and stuff around the yard so i don;t put any doggie shampoo on him, the misquito's and the other preistoric insects florida has.
