There is more to the Christian life than going to church and reading the Bible. To my opinion, Christianity means living a life free from vice. Due to our human nature, this is something hard to do. However as Christianity teaches, there is need for perseverance in life. I tend to think that humanity should be aiming at working towards Heaven. Whatever we do here on earth, it should be to help us in the next world. We therefore have to fight and do good so that Our Father in Heaven may reward us when we get there. What is your opinion?

hi there, tumenoa..
GENUINE Christianity is not hard; it is impossible. It requires SUPERNATURAL help from JESUS, our Lord and Savior.
It's easy to say that one is a Christian, that one is 'saved,' by faith. But it is not enough to know that one can be 'forgiven' of all of one's sins, and then live life as if 'nothing happened.'
the formula for salvation is FAITH + NOTHING = SALVATION --- GOOD WORKS. It means that all we need is rock-solid FAITH or belief in JESUS CHRIST and we can be SAVED. But our life won't stop at salvation. We actually have to 'die to ourselves' or deny ourselves before we can live and in turn, do good works as part of our salvation. Good works are only by-products of one's salvation.
it also helps to remember about the mystery of the TRIUNE GOD: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. the Holy Spirit is oftentimes the 'neglected' persona of God simply because only a few can 'understand' His function. many people seem to have the notion that the Holy Spirit is like a ghost.
It is only THROUGH CHRIST that we can do GREAT, UNIMAGINABLE things that bring glory to God's name and Kingdom. It is only by the power of His Holy Spirit that
we can overcome sin in our day-to-day lives.
Being a Christian doesn't mean we will not sin. It just means that we will be able to choose NOT TO SIN anymore and/or FLEE temptation when the need is so much to bear and run to Daddy God for help through prayer.
