My eyes blink for 8109 times a day exactly. Can anyone be more specific than this.

i did a calculation, i blink my eye once in abount 8 seconds.
One day contains 24 hours and i sleep for 6 hours. so 18 hours to blink.
17 hour contains 17x60x60 seconds =64800.
so with one blink every 8 second, that makes 64800/8 =8100 blinks +9 (thats my lucky number) that makes 8109 blinks a day.

only 8109 times....i have read that the person blinks 10,000 to 20,000 times a day.....anyways that's great to hear that your eyes blink for 8109 times a day exactly......

Personally I am not sure that there is a way any one person could ever tell how many times they blink their eyes each day, and I think it would vary from person to person and day to day so there is probably no average really out there as well. I know for me if I have a Cold or am tired, I blink my eyes a lot more than I would otherwise.
