Love?? Or Infatuation

Guys/Gals has anyone here really been in love and knows the true meaning of it.....because i am caught up in something that is breaking my heart for the past 3 years and i am not quite sure what to do about it, can anyone offer some suggestions?
It's like this, i really care about this girl and i end up falling in love with her and she keeps on hurting me but she happens to be in love with someone else, but says that she wants to be with me, *sigh* should i just move on and forget about her? Or should i still be her friend? even though it hurts me to know that her heart belongs somewhere else.

I dont think I could be with someone who loved someone else, that for me would be impossible to forget, if im with someone I want them to love me otherwise they are never truely with you are they not in their mind anyway.

i understand that but it really hurts to think of something like that, knowing all the ups and downs you've been through together, and all that i have done for her, doesn't that at least count for something? I guess you really don't miss something until the well runs dry right?
