Do you use FaceBook to promote yourself?

If you have a business or you write online, do you use FaceBook to promote your work? Do you post links that lead to your business?

I promote on Myspace, since strangers can even come across it... Facebook, only your friends can see, right?

Yes I do, as I think it doesn't hurt to do that and I do hope that it would get me a little more exposure if my facebook friends would look at my postings.

i heard about facebook, but Never try to get one at all. I have Hi5 and it is cool tho. If i have business, I might promote my business on my page but for some people might think you are showing off... what do you think about that?
