What is your favorite quote about love?

I was talking to my friend about love today, and she reminded me of one of my favorite quotes about love:
"If you love something let it go free. If it doesn't come back, you never had it. If it comes back, love it forever."
We were talking about her boyfriend, who she had split up with for several months, and has recently got back together with. While I don't necessarily agree with her usage of the quote, I've always thought of it as a very wise and simple thought about love.

Do you know love is blind? Once you fall in love, no matter what you say they still love each other. I have one too: "Distance never separate two hearts that really care"
I never get back with my boyfriend either, once I go then I will not return or retake him back. But I am happy for your friend, she might find something that was missing and now they are happy, so you have to be happy for her too. Good luck to your friend

One of my favorites comes from A Mid Summer Night's Dream. It says: We cannot fight for love as men may do. WE are to be wooed and were not made to woo. I follow thee and make heaven of hell to die upon the hand I love so well.
I just think that says a lot on how women should be treated..We are to be wooed, and when we are we will follow our husbands and be at their side, and whatever hell we may be going through it is heaven to just be with him.

'Love is like a bird, don't hold it too tight it will die, and not very loose....it will fly'...one of my friends says this always and i like it very much.....though the definitions differ from person to person and from situation to situation.....love is a very delicate emotion and should be handled properly. Tihs is my quote....

my favorite quote about love is " love is not a game that you used to play, for you will feel suffer and pain when your heart gets broken". this quote was given to me by my bestfriend so many years ago. and i still love this quote.
