I have two favorite colors for flowers. Red because red roses mean love and romance and I also like purple roses because purple is my favorite color. For Valentines Day I like to receive a love letter or a poem written by my husband. That is really romantic.

I like receiving red roses, but I always seem to receive pink ones. It's kind of odd, but I don't complain because I am after all receiving roses!

I like to receive red from my husband as its supposed to represent love. However, the last few years he has not given me roses, but something I can plant outside as I love to garden. He gave me special red tulips the year before last and it was wonderful to see them bloom again in the spring!

you should know your wife very well, know her favorites and what will make her happy the most. If she likes teddy bears, pets, flowers, or jewelry or clothes perhaps you wont be puzzled if she liked what you will give her and would be appreciated by her too.
