no, never, ever... once again another comparison to Jordan. Kobe can win 10 20 30 titles more than Jordan but that don't' make him a better "winner" i don't frankly understand what you asking and truly i don't think Kobe will will 3 more titles. Michael Jordan is the best player ever... hands down!

They said the same line to Dr. J before Jordan ruled the NBA! It ain't over 'til it's over!

Definitely not.No way kan kobe surpass His Airness MJ's titles and accomplishments. And even he wins more championships than Jordan. It still doesnt mean hes a much better winner.Jordan alone made a lot of game winning shots,Even championshiop winning shots. The Lakers line up today is not better than the Bulls of the 90's.I just saw no chemistry to give them back to back titles. But i do root for the Lakers to win this years title.

I just want to tell you a fact that Jordan wasn't as pure as kobe as far as jumpshots made when they both started as freshman... the only difference was Jordan was already a star when he started his career in the NBA, & Kobe just merely comes off the bench, stay there in the court for only limited minutes, Then he made some impossible winning shots that puts him in NBA immortality, He has drain a lot of winning shot @ early age, & have made The Lakers a dynasty during 2000-2002,
The reason why Shaq left b'coz he can't accept the fact that Kobe is the top player of the Lakers not him... It's b'coz of Kobe why Shaq have won 3 rings w/ the Lakers, & not Shaq giving Kobe 3 championship rings... Jordan only develop his jumpshots when came a career threatening injury almost made him a cripple in the late 80's... & develop a new arsenal aside from his high flying acts.

i dont think that kobe can ever surpass jordan. He might just win another championship but i dont think he can go passed that. The league is gettin tougher and Phil Jackson is gettin older. Now you would have to ask yourself can kobe make it without Phil?

I dont think so, yah Kobe's talented but not like Jordan who's a leader and a co-coach inside the court.

I would have to disagree. MJ is a basketball God. He won three, retired, returned, and won another three. He makes everyone around him better. Shuts up critics every time they question his abilities and he has been the best image the NBA has ever had bar none. Even Steve Kerr admitted that no one would ever notice him if not for MJ. David Stern applauded how MJ worked and carried himself in and out of the basketball court. Kobe might have some of the charisma that MJ has but i don't think he'll ever surpass him. No offense meant to his fans. he's one hell of a player and one of the top two id not the top player todate. But c'mon guys...we're talking about MJ.

Yeas, that;s true. He's getting there. He's my favorite player on the NBA as well, but there are other talented players too. I think during Jordan's time he was only one of the few good players which was why he was easily crowned "the best." I'm not saying that he's not that good, it's just that Kobe has to face off with tougher contenders. We'll see if the Lakers win the championship this year. :)

I don't think so. Both of them are amazing players but Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls were a very solid team. Kobe may lead his team to the finals this year but it's going to be a tough fight. Maybe they can win this year and maybe next year but then I don't know if they can win 3.

I think Kobe and the Lakers will win several championships before Kobe retires. They have a great core of players that are all relatively young. The only player that isn't young is Fisher, and Jordan Farmar is quickly developing into a very good guard that could probably start on any other team.

Though i love Kobe,i dont think so.
Lakers is a great team, but if they want to win more glory, there are still lots of work to do.No doubt,Kobe is very skillful, but he need more powerful assistants.Lakers is not very stable now, compare with Boston.I guess he can win one or two diamond rings in 5 years, then LBJ will show his prime.

As a Kobe fan and Laker fan, I hope Kobe passes Jordan, but I don't think he will unfortunately. I think the Lakers will win the championship this season though.

i think kobe and this present core of lakers will be a top contender for at least 5 years more.It doesn't mean though they will win 5 straight titles.I think boston and cleveland will give them a good fight every year with lebron's team now on the rise.Kobe will surpassed michael in titles won but in greatness it's a different story..

kobe can get way more rings than jordan, kobe just need to exchange a few of his player, if the lakers get a better point guard he will be way better dont get me wrong fisher is good but there are way better point guards out there.i think kobe is the best player but jordan was more of a complete player
