I am just a new mom with a beautiful five month old baby. My mom often says that its very hard to raise kids and we are only two in the family. I am just starting to raise a child and often ask what is the hardest part in raising a child or children? Can you please share your experience. Thanks in advance.

Well I guess it can be a lot of things. Seeing them grow so fast to me is one hard thing for me. It seems like yesterday that my girls were babies so I say cherish this times now because they go real quick. Another thing I feel is when it comes to disicpline for me it is very hard to do, I am not sure why but it is. Like my boyfriend also the father of my daughters has no problem with it but I do I hate to see my children sad or cry. Also the other thing I say is hard is the money thing, to raise a child is not free and they always need things, you think diapers are a lot? Wait until they are older and are in school. I like this discussion and I hope I helped you in some way. Happy mylotting

Thanks for the response, really do appreciate it. They really grow up so fast and it was also just like yesterday when I gave birth to her. I am single and raising my baby alone and yes buying diapers and milk is one of the most expensive things to buy for her. I often hear my mom say that its really very difficult sending children to school because from the start to the end of each year money is the problem, its just a good thing that I was able to finish school with my parents hard work. Thanks again and happy to have your response

I have three gils and yes, it is a hard job to raise children, but it is also a lot of joy!
We have always let the children join the things we are doing so it hasn't been that hard. Now with two older kids 11 and 9 the hardest part is to get the time I would like with both of them. School takes its part of the time - hobbies and friends.
Welcome to the joy of motherhood!
