I've heard of things that let you play videos on the iPod Nano second generation... Is this true?

All Ipod nowadays can play videos, i have 4 lineups of Ipod starting from shuffle, Ipod nano 8GB, Ipod Video 80GB and Itouch 32GB.,
All Ipod has a different characteristic in style and use. but all of them are just the same in performance.
Ipod Video uses harddrive but thats the past because they use larger storage because before Video files are too large to store but right now with compression technology those video files are shrink to smaller in sizes that can be easily fitted to flash storage that a new ipod currently have.,
If you want a larger storage and larger screen Ipod Video is for you but if you prefer smaller that can be easily put in pocket Nano is great because of its slim and battery life performance.

Actually, the iPod Nano 2Gen does not have video capability (natively).

are you sure but all my iPod except the shuffle. can play video. just use the right software program to convert your video files so your ipod can recognize., but even though ipod can't play video it doesn't matter you wont appreciate video uusing a small screen. the good part is its the best player that has battery life can survive for a day or 2., means more time listening to your favorite tunes and be productive.
