I believe that J. K. Rowling wanted to end the series because the ending was smashed together. I was disappointed that the all powerful Lord Voldemort was defeated that quickly. The seven Horcruxes wasn't really explained like it should have been since basically all of Voldemort's power came from them. Rowling could have stretched the series out with 1 more book but the Tales of Beedle and Bard was a good idea. She is a very good writer but I wished she made another book.

I felt a little disappointed with the quck wrapping up of harry potter and voldemort series. If he was so powerful he was so easily defeated , I felt J.K. Rowling ended the series very quickly without explaining a lot of things may be another book between the finale and the previous one would have been a better idea. I would have loved a book concentrating only on voldemort's school days and how he learned about horocruxes and what made him hide them where he did. Rowling is a great writer and may be thats why it leaves readr's desiring and expecting more an more from her. She is like a sweet spring of words for the thirsty readers who just can't have enough o it.

Hello, my friend
What you said really get the reason.I think I know that why J.K Rowing just write seven books of Harry Potter.Rowing believe that seven is a magical number. And do you find the Magical school just has seven grades? And the number of the horocruxes of Voldemort is seven.
Best wishes!

Yeah, I'm pretty satisfied with the ending but not quite though, there's just so many killings that had happened but nevertheless, it all ends well. so glad that it's ron and hermione at the end, I like those two. they look so cute. have you heard the latest HP news? dumbledore's gay, straight from j.k. rowling herself. that's a super big surprise

i just feel that the horcruxes and hallows should be split into 2 books, although i love reading it. it seemed to fast for me.
i would love a prequel about voldemort and stuff. hehehe it would be interesting to go in depth about voldemort's past.
also the epilogue happened like 19 or 20 years later. i've always wondered what happened in between harry beating voldemort and the epilogue.
i do hope she considers writing about harry potter again or something related to the series.

Love Harry! But i do agree witht he people on how she ended the series too quickly there definitly could have been another book. Things werent explained good enough and spme parts were really confusing. Someone as powerful as that shouldnt have been killed so easy
