What do you think is more important, Computer or Mobile Phone/Cellular Phone? Both are gadgets that we are living with now. And if you should have to give up one, what would it be? For me, I guess uhmm.. computer is more important, because I can do more stuffs in computer, and my job is computer related. I can give up my cellphone if I need to give up one of the two. How about you, what do you think is more important and what if you can only have one, what would you give up?

A computer and a cellular phone are two very important gadgets. These gadgets are a must have for many people. Faced with no other choice but to have one, I would have a mobile phone. Some people that I communicate with have phones, but are not computer literate. If I lose my phone, it will mean losing my contacts. Some people are very proficient in computers but are so busy that they barely find time to check their mails, this can make it very inconvenient for me to communicate with them.
In case I need to pass across any urgent message and get an immediate response, then I will need my phone. Mobile phones are becoming more interesting because they do most of the things that a computer would do...
Given more time I would give you more reasons why I would prefer a mobile phone to a computer, if faced with no option of having the two.

Yes, we can do a lot of things with computer. If your most concerns on cellphones are the alarm and reminder, it will not be a problem coz you can easily find a replacement for that like an alarm clock and a planner. Thanks for your response. Happy myLotting!

Actually you are supposed to choose only one, we are trying to know here what is more important. But ok, i'll accept your answer, that when you are outside you prefer the phone, and when you're at home, you prefer the computer. Thanks for the response.

If I had to choose then I would keep my cell phone. This is my only phone line, so with two kids I would definately keep the phone. I would hate to have to get rid of my computer though. This is absolutely a hard question to have to answer!

Yes, both are really so important, it's really hard to choose. So since you have kids and you wanted to monitor them easily, yes I can say that you had a good decision on choosing the cell phone than computer. Thanks for your response.

It depends what cellphone I have to give up. If it is kind of PDA phone, so I will give up my computer.
It also depends on which one is more expensive. I will obviously give up the cheaper one :D

Oh so for you it depends on the price and not really the general use. Your the first one who has that mentality. What if it has the same price, which will you give up?

I will not give my mobile without computer I can survive but without mobile I can not survive, bacause today's world is like that each and everything we need a mobile to make decisions on the spot. For spot completion of our everyday business have been mostly completed through phone, as well as if we have computer with that we can complete 100% fulfilment of our job or business. For my business nature (Marketing+sales) mobile is very important at present.

Both are actually important nowadays.. We need both to communicate and do business...
But if I were to give up any of the two, it wud be my computer... I could go to an internet cafe to do all the important things I have to finish like encoding test items and grades ,or do a research for my classes in nursing, but of course i cud not rent a cp so i cud send important messages or make a call to my classmates, coteachers and friends... I use my cellphone more often than my computer since Im also always on a travel for work and hopital duties. =)

Oh ok, I can picture out your lifestyle, you seem so busy. That's why you really needed more the service of mobile phone than of computer. Being a teacher and a nurse at the same time doesn't really need much the use of computer. Yes, you can just rent computers in internet cafe when you needed some research and encoding but your mobile phone should always be with you. Thanks for your response piattos! Have a nice day!

Hi, I would give up the phone. It would save me money and I am sure my life would be a lot less stressful. I would also like to see more public phone boxes that are in good working order and I guess if we all lost our mobiles this really would happen.

For me most important is mobile (symbian mobile) which i can use as a computer and mobile as well. I call to my friends daily about 3 to 4 hours day time and some time 1 to 3 hours at night time. Thats why Mobile is most important for me. I can chat with my friends on mobile as well. Computer is also important for me because my job is also computer related.

Both mobile and computer are useful for us. Because of working on computer for earning money I think computer is important than mobile. But we sign up in new website it generally ask mobile no or telephone then mobile is also important. so mobile and computer both are important for me.

We all know that both computer and mobile phone are important. I'm asking what do you think is more important, well I guess your answer is computer. Yes, signing a website asked us our phone numbers, but we don't give a number, still they can contact us through emails by using computer. So computer is really more important. Thanks for the response.

I'd like to have both if money allows. If I have to choose one, I'd prefer mobile phone. I can go to internet cafe for browsing. Besides, I can use computers at my office. I need mobile phone to stay connected. My family, friends, coworkers may need me while I'm on the go. Mobile phones help a lot.

If you have a laptop and wireless access I would definately give up the phone. You can even use your computer as a phone if you need to. And there are lots of different ways to phone people on the web...Vonage, magicjack, even yahoo messenger will call another computer for free or it's like 1 cent per minute for calls to land lines or cell phones.
I communicate way more on the internet. I haven't had cell service in a week or so because I can't pay all the bill right now, and I haven't really missed it at all. Now turn off my internet and my butt will be at the cable company within 15 minutes! I don't know what it is, but I'm just way more attached to my computer.
