Do you think Rafael Nadal vs. Roger Federer is becoming the best rivalry in all of sports? They had one of the best matches of all time at the Wimbeldon final and now will do battle again at the Australian Open final. Right now, Nadal holds an edge over Federer in wins and has never lost to Federer at the French Open. This will be his first Australian Open final.

Hi there. I think that the Nadal vs Federer rivalry is slowly becoming one of the most compelling rivalries in the history of the sport, if not in all of sports, as you put it. I've actually read an article/blog post way back when which pointed out that one of the most interesting things about this rivalry is the contrasts in the players styles and personalities, comparing Nadal's physical game and Federer's game of elegance and poise. I'm a huge Nadal fan and find that there isn't anything I'd enjoy more than a final between this two, no matter what tournament. I also think that one of the defining characteristics of this rivalry (as any rivalry, to some extent) is that these two players seem to bring the very best out of each other and now that Nadal has leveled the playing field between them, we should look forward to more matches of the same quality as that epic Wimbledon 2008 final.

Is is a match that most tennis fans want to watch. It is the first time that they will meet on the Australian Open so Rafael Nadal feels Roger Federer has an advantage over him.
Nadal is superior in clay that is why he holds a steady grasp in the French Open. I am exited to see them play against each other in carpet in Melbourne.
Everybody is hoping they would be as great or even greater that the semifinal match between Fernando Verdasco showcasing the talent these two Spaniards has in them in a span of 5 hours and 14 minutes which needed 5 sets to complete.
Rafa would try to stop Roger from grabbing his 14th grand slam title and in the process match the record of Pete Sampras.
I am a big fan of Roger and hope he would do his best. Good luck to both of them.
