Can US Banks be saved and economy can become stable?

If the help is given to some of the smaller banks and used correctly..yes it will help..but right now with the larger banks using money to fund parties and the buyouts of weaker banks,it really is just helping their banks to become stronger. People need to be held accountable for their actions where this in involved. There needs to be someone appointed to oversee the spending of this bailout money and make sure it's going into the place it's supposedto be instead of the pockets of the wealthy.That's the only way it's going to help.I'm no specialist but that's what I think.
