I graduated in 1998 and i honestly miss going to school. I know some people who are in school are probably thinking.. HA! you have got to be kidding me.. i cant wait to get out. Well its not as easy as you think once your out of school. The one thing you will miss most when you are finished with school is your friends because you probably went thru each grade with these friends and then once you are finished sometimes you go in different directions and go to different colleges and so on. I have lost touch with some of my friends from school and recently found them thru myspace. We talk about old times at school and the notes we passed between classes and stuff. those are my favorite memories from school well besides homecoming and pep rallys lol.
So what year did you graduate and what are your favorite memories?

i graduated almost 9 years ago, i was part of the what they so called the "MILLENNIUM BATCH" or the batch 2000.
we really look forward to that and the expectation was so high for us cause of the MILLENNIUM BUG lol...is it related?
well anyway, there are tons and tons of memories i had for the entire 4 years of stay in High School and it was the best for my age. crazy stuffs we had done, we even went naked in school one time during camping, we all went naked while taking a cold bath early in the morning

Wow yall really went extreme didnt ya!? Its memories like those that last a lifetime and make you miss those good old days. there was stuff i did in school but it wasnt that extreme. we used to smoke cigerettes on school property so the school security gaurd could come out and tell us to get off school property and then after we were off we told him we could actually go home if we wanted to since we were off school property already by his wishes of course we did the yearly pranks but i dont remember what my year was becuase i think that was the time i was busy not paying attention to that stuff and paying attention to my love life lol graduation i didnt get to graduate with my class but i did graduate that year but i had to take summer school to get the one test finished. school memories are wonderful when you sit back and rememebr all the fun times you had and how life is so much different now. it seemed so much easier back when you were in school. im sure you agree.

So far all of you are making me feel old. I graduated from High School in 1993. Some of the fondest memories are of course of my friends and the times we had in school.
I am finding all of my old friends on Facebook right now and that has been very helpful for me during these trying economic times. It has been kind of uplifting to talk with so many people I hadn't seen in years. Kept me from feeling too depressed.

I graduated in 1973...almost won the oldest title in this thread!
My favorite memories include the ONE season that we had a baaaad basketball team. I originally used going to games as an excuse to get out of the house but, in the end, we were big supporters. Hanging out with my friends, of course, was great fun.
My favorite memory though would have to be getting hauled into the principal's office with some of my friends for handing out a free newspaper on school grounds. Selling them was against the rules...giving them away was not. The problem was that this was a gay newspaper...but there was an important article on the front page about qualudes and we had a big problem with them that year. You should have seen the look on my parents' faces when they came home from work that night after getting THAT call from the school.

qualudes, huh?
There was this one song off the Led Zep album, Presence, that we nicknamed "The 'Lude Song" - but I cannot remember the title. Thanks for jump-satarting that song in my head.
Enjoy that sunshine on a cloudy day.

I graduated in 1983. For me, the first three years were the best, being that I met, & was dating the same girl, until she graduated in 1982. Acadamically, she was the reason I made it through passing those first three years of social studies, & I was the reason that she ended up majoring in music when she went away to college.
We met in our freshman year Spanish class. She was a year behind in the subject, because her freshman year, she chose to take Italian, & the teacher found out that she was just taking that class for an easy grade. The school would not allow her to take sophomore year Italian, & therefore, opted to take Spanish, being that the languages are very similar. I never did find out how the teacher knew or found out that she grew up spaking both, English & Italian, but being that both of her parents spoke Italian to each other, I can imagine. Ironically, she (I probably should say, "we both") ended up with the same Italian teacher for the Spanish class. She always had the class laughing, because every time she had a question, she would ask her question in Italian, leaving the teacher to actually have to explain in English what she asked before answering the question.

I still have a year to go before I graduate in highschool. But I have lots of memories already piled up and still counting. There are the activities of our class, wherein we really spent so much time practicing and making the necessary adjustments, then all of a sudden, our hardwork get paid off because of winning. Our annual intramurals wherein, we are always treated us the underdogs every year. We always prove them wrong by winning a champion or a runner-up in certain sports events. Our naughtiness in our class, sleeping while the teacher is discussing. We had already slept in almost all of our class. Eating and sharing foods while the teacher is not looking. We're sneaking because we're not allowed to eat during subject hours. And we're looking forward to a year still full of memories for our last year in highschool.
