i got it from a friend recently,i thought ,i would forward forward it to you.here it goes; "When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth." Billy - age 7 "Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other." Karl - age 5 "Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs." Chrissy - age 6 "Love is what makes you smile when you're tired." Terri - age 4 "Love is when my mummy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK." Danny - age 7 "Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mummy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss" Emily - age 8 "Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen." Bobby - age 7 "If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate," Nikka - age 6 "Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday." Noelle - age 7 "Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well." Tommy - age 6 "During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore." Cindy - age 8 "My mummy loves me more than anybody You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night." Clare - age 6 "Love is when Mummy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken." Elaine-age 5 "Love is when Mummy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford." Chris - age 7 "Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day." Mary Ann - age 4 "I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones." Lauren - age 4 "When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." Karen - age 7 "Love is when Mummy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross." Mark - age 6 "You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget." Jessica - age 8 what do you think about these sayings???

Hello my friend riyasam Ji, I am of a strong opinion that "Love is life, God and so on....". Anything, by which person gets fully satisfied. Love could be termed as 'work is worship' as well. many people get satisfied with their work. So love is taht stage of life, where people feel near to Almighty. It is at different angel, people look at and visualise it may god bless you and have a great time.

Hello my friend riyasam Ji, In fact kids need only Love and nothing else but Love. They always starve for love. Even at this age, I remember many from my child hood and feel their warmness as they used to deal with me. So love children. God will love you. may god bless you and have graet time.

oh wow all thes kids have ther ideal what love is.my ideal is not just saying it but showing that person you love.you have to love that person unconditional and you just can,t say it unless you mean it a lot people play with the word called love.espeacially on the internet it,s thrown a round like a dirty rag. not even knowing what love is.

The cutest is that of Lauren - age 4 "When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." The best one is that of Karen - age 7 "Love is when Mummy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross." And the most meaningful one is that of Mark - age 6 "You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. Thanks for sharing my friend!

I think they are very cute! Many of them not only made me smile, but laugh too. It's amazing what kinds of things little kids pick up on...The toilet one, that was funny. As an adult you don't even think to look at the littlest things anymore like these kids do. It's rewarding seeing the points of views of little kids.

I think I have received this e-mail too. It is really nice and those kids came up with their own meanings under their own observations. It is simply wonderful.

I think that kids know more about life and love than grownups. We seem to have forgotten the wisdom of our youth. Cheers!!

These are authentic thoughts of how kids perceive love unlike the way adult sees or defines love.

This love quotes that you share really made me smile. Kids see love differently the way us adult look at it. As I read along i agree to what they say for the see love in their own simple understanding. At times I would think that a child can think better than the adult do. I hope everyone will see love this way. Thanks so much for sharing this made my afternoon look brighter. Thanks a lot!!!

"Love is like Sundae ice cream. It always makes you feel better." - me I think that they have a pretty good sense of what love is. Unfortunately Jessica is right - people do forget. People grow up become too practical and sometimes even cynical. It's a shame that we can't hold on to such thoughts on love - of course we mature, but it would be better if we don't forget how simple love can be if we don't make it hard on ourselves. Thanks for the response on my discussion!
