I wash my chicken, then i soak it in buttermilk for a few hours, then i bread it, deep fry it for a minute or so then i bake it for about a hour. Ill have to try it with out deep frying it first before i bake it. Because it is better for your health not frying it.

hi Aikaruj, my dear friend, i am a vegetarian but my hubby is non-vegetarian. he generally prepares chicken himself or bring it cooked from any restaurant or any hotel. some of the most easiest ways , he makes his fried chicekn is as follows :-
all you need is
3 pounds of chicken cut into pieces
1 cup of all purpose flour
2 tsp seasoning salt
1 tsp freshly grounded pepper
vegetable oil to fry
wash and slightly dry the pieces of chicken. now combine, flour, salt and pepper an any brown paper or any plastic sheet. now place one aor two pieces of chicken in it at a time and now shake the bag. shake it well so that it is well coated. do this with every pieces of chicken.
now heat the vegetable oil to fry . fry the chicken pieces till golden brown. take them out in kitchen towel and serve hot.
its done. easy to make tasty to eat.

AikaruJ,
You may like this Bacon Roast Chicken:
Ingredients:
* 2 Large Chicken Drumstick
* 4 slices Streaky Bacon
* 3 cloves Garlic, crashed with skin on
* 2 slices Lemon
How to do it:
1. Place a slice of lemon on the chicken.
2. Wrap a slice of streaky bacon slightly tight starting from the joint part with the fatty part of the bacon should be 'outside'.
3. Overlap the bacon a little so you don't see the chicken.
4. Place the chicken in a oven proof dish with the loose end bacon placed down.
5. Scatter the garlic around.
6. Roast the chicken in a preheated oven at 220C for 15 minutes.
7. Reduce the temperature to 170C and continuing roasting for another 40 minutes or till thoroughly cooked.
8. Serve.
Tip:
You may want to place a bowl of water during the roast to retain the moisture in your meats.
Hope you will like this simple and other way of having your chicken than frying them.
Bon appettit!
