Are you interested to knock off your weight? There are few tips which will help you. Make exercise an important commitment and write it down in your planner so that you are more likely to keep the appointment. Drink 8 to 10 glass of water per day and eat high water content foods. Respect the body's internal clock and metabolism and fuel your body. You tend to eat mindlessly when you watch television. Eat egg white instead of whole egg . Take breaks regularly. Weigh yourself once in a week. I can assure you that if you do these you will definitely get good results. Friends express your views. pkc3000

I am interested in losing weight. I stand 178 cm tall, but weigh about 98 Kg. If one looks at me he/she wouldn't believe I weigh that much or I am tending to be obese! I just read in the news paper that some people have a nature set limit on their fat cells. Like there are some protein cells that enclose the fat-cells like a water filled balloon, placed in a tight cage like arrangement. This puts a capon the weight growth. Am I one of them I wouldn't know. So, it would be wiser to embark on a weight loss program and stick to it. Your suggestion of maintaining weekly records of what is eaten and the weight is a GOOD IDEA. I think I must try this. It is said that weight increases due to water retention in the body. Then 8 to 10 glasses of direct water consumption, to what avail it would be? I have no problem of eating while watching television, for I don't watch television. I am a reader all the way and I would like to gather news or knowledge by reading and discussing. So, TV time eating to obesity is not for me. Eating fibrous foods is recommended for "dragging" along excess fat. But you r suggestion is for watery foods. that is a trifle confusing. Please respond to my post with you r observations explanations.

I workout every day but I eat however i want and some weeks it's good and some weeks it's bad...so my weight goes up and down in between a few pounds...but i'm fine with that because it's gonna do it anyway once a month lol exercise is the most important thing. you have to do it to lose weight. you can't just change your eating habits and i think too many people think thats all they have to do but it's not. working out is what takes the weight off... I don't think you need to weigh yourself weekly though, just do it when your feel the like it. eat a lot of fruit and fiber. and get enough sleep and lots of water
