At home, I speak both French and English. I grew up in an environment, where people would speak one, or the other, or both. So, I learned both, pretty much at the same time, which makes it difficult to chose what is my mother tongue. Because most of the time I have to chose only one, even though I have two.

We mainly speak Swedish sine we live in Sweden and Swedish is our first language. Sometimes we speak English since both older girls learn English at school, the little one (only 3) don't know much English yet. I also use a few lines in German or Spanish when I feel like it - but since none of the others know much of those languages it's not any point in using them. Hopefully the oldest will start to learn German or Spanish next year and that will make it more fun to use other languages.

Philippines has many dialects, these are used in local provinces, however only 1 language that generally used, which we use as 1 of our languages we speak at home. My mom is a Korean, so sometimes she talks in Korean to us. We speak in English too, but mostly it's Tagalog (the local language).
