Do you think all restaurant chains should carry the curly fry? I just had an Arbys curly fry. I like them better than the regular fry or the potato cake they offer. So it got me to thinking about whether or not we should have curlys available at all chains.

I think we prefer tot curly fry over the regular one. However, as you mentioned the potato cake, I have to say I like Arby's potato cakes better than fries. I just think they are more like potato that any french fry.

I think they should.I am a big fan of curley fries myself, especially the seasoned ones.I once had a kitchen gadget to make my own but it seems to have disapeared.
Maybe I just might try and get another one.kids loved it when I would make them homemade.that way there was plenty to go around.

I Love Arbys Curly Fries over the other ones for sure. Especially dipped in their arby and horsey sauce mixed. Over all when I have had curly fries other places I was not too fond of them, and prefer the regular ones, so I guess it depends on where you get them from for sure.

I like both kinds I just love French fries. Curly fries I don't get so much of since I don't go to Arby's much. But they are good with their cheese sauce.

Hi.
I have never had a chance to try curly fries and after reading this discussion of yours I am going to give it a go.
By the way I feel taste has to be in the way the fries are prepared and not on there shape.

I don't mind curly fries, it truly depends on who made them. Sometimes they are just to zippy & other times you are like where's the seasoning?
I think with the economy being the way it is & curly fries are typically higher priced to stick with regular til people are willing to splurge on things.

Hello i hope i could try curly fries at Arbys so i can tell the difference between that and the regular fries. I just tried curly fries from McDonald's. I still prefer the regular fries though. Seems like curly fries are greasier than the regular fries.

Regular fries, of course!
They offer curly fries at Jack in the Box. I don't care for them at all. I never actually ordered them. When I was in the drive-thru I had ordered the regular fries but I was given the curly fries instead when I picked up my order at the window. I hadn't noticed the mistake they made until it was too late. So my family (with the exception of my youngest son) tried them and didn't like them one bit. I'll take the regular fries over the curly ones any day. And here they charge more for the curly fries. Why?

I like the curly fries better because they have a spicy flavor to them. Where I live, I think Arby's is the only chain which carries them. Two other chains used to carry them years ago.
I can buy packages of seasoned curly fries in the grocery store now. This way, I can cook them in a low-fat oil.
