I think it depends your situation. I am 5'4 woman. pretty short... sometimes when I was in highschool playing basketball I wished I was taller. However my boyfriend is 6'7 and it is hard to find a vehical he fits well in.

You`re right. Sometimes you wish to be tall, and sometimes not. Wow, your boyfriend it`s taller than you, with much.. As about the car, isn`t trouble. You`ll drive the car. That will be a reason to tell him that it`s your time to drive your family car.

A disadvantage of me being short is I can't reach anything on the top shelf in my cupboards. I usually have to ask my hubby if he is around if he would reach up and get it for me. Sometimes when he's not around I have to drag a chair over climb up and get it my self. Also, when I have been out shopping and something attracts my eyes on the top shelf I have to ask people who are near by for assistance in reaching for the item. I wish i was a bit taller so i could do these things for myself.

you`re right, all that you said, i think that it`s true, but can you tell me what abilities do you have and tall or average people don`t have? You must be proud that you can do something and they can`t do. You must have some problems that you`ll resolve a.s.a.p just because you`re a little short. You said only disadvantages. Please tell some advantages too. There must be a lot !

that`s what i wanted to hear from you. Some advantages. It`s known tha if you think positive, it will be easier for you to live with that. But if you are short it`s not a really bad problem. YOu said it! It has a lot of advanages, i think that more than disadvantages. So, it`s ok.

Sorry I didn't elaborate more on my last response. Okay, i only stated my disadvantages for being short now here are my advantages.
Short people feel more comfortable when they wear high heeled shoes as it doesn't make them feel to tall. And also, when it comes to riding a bicycle they have an easier time as they're not all legs the way a tall person would be.

As a woman, I'd have to vote for average height. I'm considered short at 5'2" tall. On my Dad's side of the family, most hover around 6 foot tall, so I'm definitely the runt of the litter lol. There are advantages of being tall, but there are also advantages of being short. Being short, I find I have to get a stool or chair to get into every top cabinet in the kitchen, and when driving, I have to sit on a pillow so I can see over the steering wheel. I also had to have the cars foot pedals raised so that I didn't have to stretch to reach them. One of the benefits of being short is that you can fit into places where tall people couldn't. My dad often asked me to help him in his machine shop when repairing tractors, my small hands and arms could fit into places in the engine where his couldn't. If I was tall and had larger appendages like him, I wouldn't have fit either. When younger, I often thought I'd like to be a lot taller, but I think it's ok to be the size I am...I can do anything a tall person can do, but I might just have to approach it a little differently lol.

it`s verry nice that you are helping your dad with your talent. i think that even if you are shot, as you said, you have great abilities, that tall people don`t have it. Short people make the difference, isn`t so? You must be happy when you find that you could do something that a tall man can`t do. What do you think that it`s the best in beeing short? Can you tell me that?

As a short woman who is dating a tall man I would say that they both have their advantages! While I will never be a model (because there is a height restristion!) and I won't be able to reach tall things I really like being short! Even thought it does it get anoying when people try to rest their arm on my head! lol
