My golden labrador nearly 3 human years old now. But recently she has begun to mope around the house and generally look depressed. I have been giving her extra love and cuddles and treats to try and make her feel better. However it hasn't been working, her mood has just been deteriorating. I really don't know what to do. I love her very much and i hate to see her like this. Can anyone suggest what is wrong of what to do?

Take your dog outside to a park, open feild and let it run. Throw a ball, sticks, it's favorite chew toy.
The dog needs to exercise. They love to go for walks, daily.
It sounds to me like your dog is bored.
To have a Well Rounded Dog, the dogs needs to exercise, get discipline and be praised. In that order, everyday. Several times a day. At least two.
So, take the dog for a walk to the park. Have it fetch for you. Take the dog home and feed it.
Do this everyday, preferably at the same time everyday.
If when you take your dog out and at least at the park throwing a ball or playing with a stick, the dog doesn't perk up, then make an appointment with the vet.
FYI:
My dog gets out three if not four times a day.
She is up by 7 a.m. and in bed by 8:30 p.m. Usually. Sometimes she sleeps in.
Best to you and please keep us posted!

Yeah I think you should take her to the vet and explain the symptoms if she is physically healthy it could be an emotional problem that you should consult with an animal behaviroist and find out what is bothering her. It could be anything really.

I agree with sarah...take your pooch to the vet. It might be something simple, but than again it might be a symptom of something more serious. You are much better to be safe than sorry. Whenever my dog showed a change in energy or behavior usually he was physically not feeling well. Get her checked out.
