what i love about me!!

A while back i started a discussion on what i hate about me and i have been having some very unhappy discussions lately. So,surprise! im going to have a new kind.
on 3 things i love about me
1. i've always had pretty eyes and legs. a gift from my mom and God. there a little wrinkley these days but i have very fond memories of men commenting on them with nice compliments. 2. iam a very easy going and diplomatic person. i always forgive meanness from others and try to move on unless they just keep it up. I take up for nearly everyone giving them the benefit of the doubt and telling people maybe this or that made/makes them a certain way. 3. im generous to a fault. I've been known to give people things i like myself and still want just because they might seem to enjoy them more than me and i always pay my own way and often buy others lunch and or dinner when i have the money. I NEVER believe in eating something in front of someone else that dont or cant have it.I only hated 2 people in my life and even forgave and stopped hateing them. NOW, you tell me. I know you've got to have things you love about yourself. Go ahead and brag!

An interesting and unusal discussion and one that has me thinking.
1. I am a good parent and grandfather. My children have been taught right from wrong, to think before they act or speak and to take responsibility for their own decisions and actions. I never fail to tell them that I love them each and every time I speak to them, whether in person or on the telephone. I do the same with my grandchildren and will be teaching them the same things that I taught to my children. The only minor difference is that I can spoil my grandchildren and then hand them back to their own parents (my children).
2. I am a good partner. I tell my partner every day that I love her and how special she is plus I thank her for every little thing that she does for me to look after me and make life better for both of us.
3. I am a loyal friend, an excellent neighbour and I support my local community because it is where I live. Our friends know that if they want to talk, share a confidence or even just want some company, then I am available for them. It is the same with or neighbours and we are happy to give them some of our produce because they would do the same for us if we didn't have it. We support our local community by giving some of our excess fruit and vegetables to those who distribute to the poor and needy. In fact we put in a few extra plants of all our crops for just that reason. 
I am happy, healthy, have the best partner, have a wonderful family and some very special friends. So that alone is something to brag about because if I wasn't all the things I said, they would not be so involved in my life.

Actualy I think I am the lucky person to have so many wonderful people in my life because without them, I would not be the person that I am today. Many of our "character traits" are formed as a result of who is involved with us on a regular basis as well as the upbringing we received.

wow. you sound like a very special hubby. just like my late hubby he had all the same sweet wonderful ways. you and your wife are very good together. she sounds like she deserves you and vice versa.

Good idea to do a discussion about what people like about themselves, stop focusing on the negatives!! Ok here are mine!
1) I am very friendly, easy going, reliable and all round good person!
2) I have got nice legs, well I think I have!!
3) I like that I am independent, can do what I want when I want and I can be a bit feisty!!

Shoot...can't think of anything except my sense of humour and ability to smile anytime. Never had pretty anything but did have big boobies. Everything else is big now too. I can be counted on to attract the worst kind of people ...they are getting nicer but they are still no good for me.
It's sad to think I can't think of anything eh?

That's all what I can say about the key of loving myself, where always in an extra odd attitude in my life. Thus, it never makes me feeling lonely, as my thinking big attitude always be my best friend. Concisely, myself is the intimate friend of mine. So I love myself.

Sorry I'm late with this...I'm so far behind in trying to respond to my friends and don't want you to think I'm ignoring you..I'm trying to catch up on answering a lot of my own discussions
Okay, one saying my great-grandmother used to say was never hide your light under a bushel..in other words if you have good qualities or talents....flaunt it..LOL
1 Okay I'm aware that I'm a creative and talented person...that might sound egotistical but hey, I know my capabilities
2 I'm a good logical problem solver especially when crap hit the fan...yes, I might at first fling my hands in the air when something negative happens in my life, but then I get to problem solving and trying to find a solution to the problem
3 I also try to be diplomatic, especially with my on-line friends, and most especially when up against someone being nasty to either me or one of my friends and will defend my friends if someone is flaming or hurting them...but do so "diplomatically"

Hahaha...LOL! You sound like a wonderful person bunny. Let me see, I have toooooooo many good points. I am hardworking. I am capable of loving deeply. I am intelligent. I may not be a stunning beauty, but I sure have charm. I am friendly, and I can keep up an interesting conversation for a long time. Alright..I guess this is enough bragging for today. Let me add that I love my pets and my baby. LOL!!

My wife has come onto me for loving myself. My response, "loving yourself is a prerequisite to loving anyone else. Love is all there Is." I never dwell on self love, but try to remedy all those other things that are not so loving. As a Yogi, I love healthy aging, staying young as I age is a goal that I love. I love my daily yoga sessions, and working with the people who do yoga with me in the RV Park.I love a healthy diet, and eating fresh Grapefruit every morning at breakfast. Lets face it! I love Life!

What i like about me? Hmmmm, i know i am kind and loveable. I have close friends that tell me Im sweeter like sugar . hehe. My boyfriend told me im one in a zillion type of girl.. Im proud of that, and im proud of being me. I am willing to learn a lot of things, and always humble to accept mistakes. No one is perfect we all know that. but its good if we always try to do the best. i am a survivor, survivor of poverty while i am in college. It make me smile thinking of the people who support me. I am a kind of girl that likes to meditate at night, cry out to the lord when i have problems, and always look for earning opportunities to support my loving family.

What I like about me? First, I look way too young for my age. I am 41 but everyone thinks I am in my 20's. Second, I always win in competitions. That's why my boss would always make me spearhead competitive projects. Third, I like my skin. I believe God has been good to me. Like you, I am also generous to a fault, and too trusting. That's actually a weakness. I had bad experiences in the past because some people took advantage of me financially. Thank you for this discussion. At least we learn once in a while to appreciate ourselves.

It is said that if you cannot love yourself you cannot love others. As for me what I love about myself is my never give up attitude. I have seen a lots of ups and downs in my life, but never lost hope. This is one quality which keeps me going even when times are rough.

Well let me see, what I like about myself is that I look years younger than I'm exactually is and I have no grey hair for my age and I look like my mother and have the same temper, hehehe, although I am small it doesen't bother me as I get a lot good remarks about my height also I am generous to my friends and kind to people and animals, even the birds comes to me when I called them, so I think I am great. I love many things about me, i am fair, beautiful and i have lovely and beautiful eyes, I do help people who deserve and people who are really in need of help, i feed animals, i love doing service to elders and old people. there are many things that i like about myself, infact i even like anything which is negative also in me. if i am angry, if am irritated, if i shout , i do like all this even about me. in one word, i like everything about me.

1.m very cute and pretty (evry 1 says so), so i get my way no matter what at home or in college..2.i forgive people easily and hold no grudges or anythng, and can be friends with them again.3.bad situations dont really bother me that much coz i can some how block all the negative thoughts and get into something else without evn cribbing or thinkin over and again about the problem:)
