If You Were On A Reality TV Show...

I've tried out for Idol twice, made it past the first round in Jacksonville this year. But, I definitely try to make friends! Because you never know when you will be eliminated. Might as well make friends while you're there! But I always keep in mind that it's a competition!

On the shows that contestants don't have to rely on the home audience keeping them there but they rely instead on the other participants, it seems like the people that stay on the longest don't make that many waves or get themselves noticed for too much. They work to more look like not a threat then a great player. They get along with as many people as possible and try to make themselves an asset to their environment(for example the best fisherman on survivor or the one who cleans the most on big brother). So that's the kind of role i would try and fill. Now, on the shows that the contestants rely on the home audience's favor (American Idol and Dancing with the Stars), you have to make yourself noticable and likeable. Come off as a hard worker and nice person. If I had to pick a show to be a contestant on it would be Biggest loser, because that's where I am at right now, unfortunately. that's one show where even the losers are winners!

I wouldn't do it, seems like everyone who does it now gets dragged through the papers and I can't think of anything worse than being stuck in a house with a load of attention seekers! What about you?
