Do you collect change that you see or get?
I have a big jug that i put my chnage into. From tips and everything from work i probably have around 120 in it. I'm waiting till it fills up all the way to go get it cashed out. Its all going to my MAC laptop im saving up for.

I have a big floor vase that I put all my change into, so far I have gotten about 300 dollars in it, about 150 of it is quarters though. On days I get super bored I will take it all out and manually count it, this sometimes takes hours but its fun for me and I like to see my money grow, lol. I guess I should get an electronic counter but that would take the fun of it.
Also its a good idea when you have big jars of coins to check them all to make sure you do not have any rare valuable ones. I was once counting a friends money that he kept in a 5 gallon jug and for a penny from the 1800's, it wasn't particularly valuable but boy was it cool to look at.

Hi... Oh heck yes we save our change. I have three little jars sitting on the collect all spots and our change goes in there. When one of the jars get filled up, or approx. once a month, I transfer silver change and pennies into seperate larger jars. We pick something we are saving for that's a big extra, like vacations or the Christmas holidays. We don't tap into that until about two weeks before our planned vacation or christmas shopping starts to start counting it and wrapping it to take it to the bank. This is something we started years ago and keep doing it. You never realize how much loose change you have laying around until you start doing this. We cash in anywhere from $300 to $500 each time. It makes for a nice extra.

I did for about 2 years save all my 1p and 2p (UK £`s) in big tins, they eventually became so heavy i couldnt lift them so i broke them up into smaller tins and took them to work and exchanged them for notes - £240 worth 100 1p = £1 so you can imagine how happy the office staff were with me when they had to bank all my 1p`s and 2p`s lol
