Hello mylot loves.
Just curious as to how many of yall like to move?
As a kid I've moved around, a lot! I hated it. I made a best friend, grew comfortable, than it's time to move again.
Just recently I grew very comfortable with moving. I love the fresh new start and I get bored with where I am.
So what about you guys?
I would love to hear from you.

When I was a kid I also moved around a lot, by choice. It was hard having to meet new people and start at new schools but I was a loner anyways and it did not affect me as it would some other people. I moved about every six months to either one or the other parent or some random family friends who would take me in. It was a really good experience because I got to witness how different families lived and the different dynamics they all had. I even had the oppurtunity to live in London for half a year which was just great.
As soon as I finish with college I will be out of my current state so fast nobody will have seen me leave, lol. I just can't seem to stay in one place too long.

It's also pretty cool to say I've been there and done that. Even if it's just in the states, each state is unique. When I moved from North Carolina to Colorado and talked about collard greens everyone tilted their heads 'what?'
lol

When I was a child I moved many times. I hated moving, but my father loved it, and he loved changing and decorating a new place. When we had just moved my father always said: "Now I have found the perfect place and we are never going to move again" My mother, my brother and I always laughed when he said that, because we knew well very that after a while he would find a new and much more perfect place and then we would move...again. I didn't like moving when I was a child, I was tired of moving so many times, so I decided that when I grew up I would stay at the same place instead of moving all the time. Now I am an adult, and the ironic thing is that I have actually moved a lot more than I did with my parents! I like changes and I like moving. I enjoy living in a new area and I like to have a fresh new start.

I don't think I would ever feel comfortable about moving. It's the packing of stuff, transporting them and unpacking them again that makes me not want to move if only I had the choice.

I used to live in the same house for 16 years and then when I left home I moved every 6 months. I liked moving and living somewhere new but now I have way too much stuff that the thought of moving stresses me out!

I have never had a problem with moving. In fact, I'll be moving to another state in a month or two, hopefully the sooner of the two. It will be a new start, as me and my b/f of almost 4 years are parting ways. He decided he was ready to 'move on' alone. I moved to this state 4 years ago, and we have moved once, 2 1/2 years ago, to a bigger house. Since I don't have any family here, I'll be moving to the state where my oldest daughter lives, at least for a little while. I will most likely move within a year, back to Texas. Moving also gives me the opportunity to go through stuff and get rid of things I don't need or want any longer. I think I like getting moved in the best, and decorating the new place.

I moved around a lot in my late teenage years and early twenty years because of family problem. But I really thank God. Now that I am married, my husband and I have an apartment of our own and we have a place called home - a place where we can come home to. And all I can say is hurray moving days are gone. But......my husband says when he can afford it, he is going to buy a landed house so by that time we would be moving again but for now...we are thankful and enjoying our humble abode !!
