Are you a parent? Or the neighbour of one? I personally think the sound of a baby (crying, laughing or any other), is pure music.

I haven't read the book, but associating the night with books is also interesting. I am one who can't sleep without reading in bed. Wonder if there are others like me out here.

Yes nightmares are creatures of the night. Another person I know is plagued by them. So I can relate to that.

For me .. its stars. I love how amazing those little lights in the sky are and thinking of what an amazing creator we have .. who filled the night sky with all these beautiful specks of light!

Isn't it a pretty sight when you can see the stars at night? Living in modern cities though, with smog covering the surface, it has become an increasingly rare experience. A drive into the country is worth it, just to soak in a star-lit night

Yes bed time. Which for some is a time for sleep and slumber, and for some is a time for talking to the moon, ceiling fan or the furniture in the bedroom. ha ha ha

Yes the stars for me also have the charismatic ability to keep sleep away. I can just sit and stare.

Its wonderful that so many people here associate night with sleep. If it weren't for the moon, my own association would have been with insomnia.

Yes, it's around the corner with just over a month to go. Guess Christmas is in the air. And why not? It should be in the air all year round.
