Older men

Why is it that older men seem to grow old so much more gracefully than women? Women get fat much earlier because of harmones and seem to age not so well as to be as attractive as men? As I have gotten older I really have noticed. Do you feel the same?

well women that have kids have to deal with the whole baby weight thing which guys obviously dont.. im not convinced that makeup doesnt make you age faster because i have seen a lot of women that always wore makeup and started from a young age and they end up looking 10 years older than they are at a young age so i wonder if some makeup doesnt screw up some womens skin into aging badly..

Hey Jordan! I hate to say it but, I totally agree with you!
I hate to look at myself in the mirror anymore! I don't even
recognize that person I see there! It is this old woman that
stares back at me! This "Grandmother looking person" that I
never wanted to be! I don't even have any grandchildren! I
can't believe that person is me! It hurts so much to see
myself looking this way! What happened? Where did that cute
flirtery woman go to? I don't understand why woman don't age
the same as men, but surely they don't and how sad it is~

May be a curse to women. I appear younger than I am..genes..what ever...at 60 raising a 7 yr old I need to look some good so I go get facials and use creams that they suggest and I do believe it helps....can hardly eat. exercise so very much and try to keep good hair cut and style...doesn't seem fail...as women we have so much more to do then men...besides taking care of ourselves...

I take it that you had Neil Diamond in mind, when you came up with this discussion. I think he looks terrific at his age...however there are some male singers that look terrible because they have done too much plastic surgery to their faces, such as Kenny Rogers and Wayne Newton...their faces look like wax now.
It doesn't appear that Neil has done any of those, and he has chosen to grow old gracefully, rather than to try and go back in years. Good for him
