Dog Tails of Destruction

Does anyone else have a dog whose tail gets in the way of absolutely everything? And have you found a way to train your dog from wagging his tail? Lol.
My dog has a very long strong tail and he knocks over everything, hits my other dog in the face all the time (im not sure why the one getting hit doesnt just move, lol), and sometimes he will be wagging away and will hit a wall or some other object and will think someone is knocking and starts barking at his own tail noise(so hes not exactly brilliant).
Share your Dog Tales of Destruction here. I'd love to hear that other people have it worse than me, lol.

My dog is a crossbreed but has a rather long tail he can hit either side of his belly when he wags it really hard lol!
He spent all christmas knocking ornaments off the tree with his tail he was worse than my children for wrecking it, he also hits the wall/door and thinks someone is banging on the door.
Funniest was when he was stood slightly to one angle and he wagged his tail and hit himself in the eye you could see it was annoying him but still he stood there and kept hitting himself in the face I called him away in the end before he blinded himself!
