Long Distance Relationship: How to deal with it?

I have been in a long distance relationship for a year now. I was okay in the first 6 months but now, I feel like I'm the most miserable person on the planet. We talk on the phone but lately, our conversations has gone dry. We don't have lots of things to talk about. I want to do something about it.

I agree with what someone else said, one of you needs to make a sacrifice to be with one another if its that bad. I have been in a long distance relationship for 5 months and we only get to talk once a week via webcam. We live in separate countries as well, she lives in the philippines while I live in the U.S. and while I miss her a ton every single day I know that God has a plan for us and right now he wants us to be where we are. Just reassure each other how much you love one another and how much you miss each other. Personally I couldnt be happier with my long distance relationship, I would wait for forever for her, she is the most amazing girl in the world and i would do anything for her. We pray every day that God will let us meet soon, but we know right now, its not meant to be so we will wait for Gods sign :)

OMG Alex18! I am from the Philippines, too! I grew up there. My family and I moved to Canada almost 4 years ago. My boyfriend is Canadian and we both live in different cities - same province though. I have made a point of seeing him at least once a month. In fact, I will be going home this weekend to visit him! It's a great way to celebrate Valentine's Day. you really need to do something if u want this relationship to work out.. how about visiting her/him? cos now honestly, im having also a long distance relationship with my boyfriend.. and its working well..
