Do you use any software to increase your download speed?

Yes i use one software to increase my download speed i.e,dap9 it was very useful for me .Actually my broadband speed is 256kbps. so it is very frustrating for me when i supposed to download any movies ,software ,songs etc...bcoz my download speed is very low .But one my friend told me about this software "dap9" and i downloaded this software yesterday for free of cost.Now my download speed is increased a lot .This software is really useful for me.Do you know any other software other than this or you ever tried this software?

hi ajith,
first of all, i will tell u about dap, it is a good software but when downloading movies..it is not supported resumable.. so i changed to idm , this is the best software for downloading for movies...it supports resumable links too..so this is best software to increase your download speed buddy..

I'm using TCP Optimizer to increase my speed but it doesn't help much. I'm on 384kbps DSL but my download speed is way lower than that. I should be getting around 48 to 50Kb of download speed but i'm only getting 35 or less. My internet provider really sucks. For my downloads, i'm using Internet Download Manager. I think it increases the speed of download especially from Rapidshare. You should try it sometime.

I also use dap 9, it increases download speed & it is easy to use.

I use Internet download manager to increase my speed and to maintain the speed so my speed will consistently. Even though it a paid software but it great than other.
