When I was a child I thought that "the old days" would come back kind of like the changing seasons. When summer is gone, winter will come, but after that summer is coming back, so I thought the old days (the 40's, 50's etc) that my grandmother had told me about would also come back. I made plans for things that I would do when the old days came back, and I remember asking my mother: "When are the old days coming back?". she tried to explain to me that the old days wouldn't come back, but that the present would once become "the old days" I didn't understand it and I kept making plan for my life in the old days

I used to dream about falling, more like flying down my grandma's basement steps, I never, ever made it to the bottom though. That dream has always stuck with me. This other dream has been with me since I dreamt it too.
I was flying like Superman (lol) through this house that didn't have any guts. All it had in it was the roof and the outer primater walls. This dream made me feel so good and free! It has inspired me many times when I have needed something to pick me up!
