Should we live life for onself or for others happiness?

How should be life lived? For ourselves or for those whom we love. There are people who dont bother about the people with who they are living and I think that hurts a lot to the person of whom nobody is bothered. But on the other hand if people live for other what will that particular person will have in life. And dear friends I think majority of the people live for others, what do you think?

I used to live for others and it was not a good thing for me because I got lost in the whole process. I am learning to live for myself and also to do things for others. Cheers!!
