Should we stay, or should we go out of the country?

I think any where in the world, perhaps unless you are extremely rich, you will feel the painful price increases in food and all our needs. I think with the declining in all economy, job are precarious. Losing your job while you are in another country is more catastrophic. But on the other hand, if you were to lose your job here, there are still friends and family to run to.

Hello n30wing! Based on what is happening to the world now, I would say that I would rather stay here but that is if I am still single. But then because my husband live in America, I have to go with him and joined him there.

Hi aisaellie, I believe that where the husband goes the wife should be always with him. I tell that to my fiancee, so if ever I have a work out of town for two days she has to go with me. I think I rather stay here. Anyway anywhere you go life is hard, but it's were you are happy and contented. Have a nice day to you! God be with you always my friend!

It all goes down to personal preference, but nowadays it's hard to get a job anywhere and anywhere you can find a job is good whether it's here or abroad. Professionals who stay are doing the country a favor by serving their Motherland. However, OFW's help too by sending money to the Philippines.

You are right! For me as long as you have work here or abroad. Life is getting hard everywhere. I am happy here seeing my family and closest friends around. Anyway have a great day! God be with you! Keep on smiling!

Yes that is true. Losing your job abroad is somewhat hard since you don't have that support like if your in your own country. If you lose your job in here you could easily go to your relatives that could temporarily help you out in times of need. But if you're abroad then you are usually on your own if you happen to have relatives in there they might be able to help but then its still feels very awkward asking them for help. The network of support is much stronger in here especially if you have a large family to ask for help.

i agree with you that it is better to lose job if you are in the philippines rather than lose job while in other countries. For me, its better to stay here in the Philippines nowadays because the world is experiencing downsizing, slowdown and recession. there is no stability anywhere in the world. at least, we have our families here to help us. so long as we would not be choosy in work and we would save, i think we will survive in the philippines.

Same with me, it's my choice being here with my family. What is important now a days is having a job and I am happy with my work here. Then being alone somewhere else. Have a nice day to you! God bless!

I can't see anything wrong in staying or going out of the country for a job. With the financial crisis affecting the whole world, I don't think we should be very choosy where to work, be it here or abroad. If there's a job offer abroad that will turn out to be more beneficial than my job here in the country, I will certainly grab the opportunity.

I respect your opinion eichs1. We Pilipinos are use to crisis, and face it with open eyes any where we go. As long that we have work that is important and can provide a good life to our love ones. Good night!

well i guess it really depends on your personal choice. to leave or not to leave would really depend on what is your plan for the future. being away would mean more money but sacricing quality time with the family and just staying here to be with the family even if we dont have much to eat. for me staying here and leaving within our means is my choice. i have nothing agains those who go abroad because its their choice...

Same with me nansheeca, I rather stay here. I respect other opinions, but this is my choice. For me it's being happy with what I have and sharing or helping other people on my own small way. I rather be with my family seeing them and being also with my closest friends. Have a nice day to you! God bless!
