HUGE seconlife addict here. (In fact I have SL up as we speak right now.. lol) Couple other sites like secondlife (not sure if these are the ones you meant or not) There is one called IMVU, which is sort of like a limited capability secondlife, geared twards a younger crowd. (www.imvu.com) Also there is a new thing called Blue Mars (www.bluemarsonline.com) I played IMVU for about a year, I've played Secondlife for 3 years now (wow huh?) and while i've registerd with blue mars, i've only played it a few moments. The graphics on it seem wonderful, but i'm so used to secondlife it seemed a bit clunky. Anyway I think i'm blabbering at this point so adios!

I have played the game second life for about 2 years, and i've made some real money for it. I never played IMVU the graphics look kinda whatever looking. The character the looks big headed. I checked out Blue Mars on you tube and I have admit that it looks way better then Second life. I think I may have found a third life the graphics on blue mars looks amazing, what's your avatars name on blue mars maybe we can explore it together.

Second life is a virtual community, where users choose an avatar to represent themselves and can participate in social interactions, games and trade. You can even take employment in Second life, build things and sell them. What enables people to make money on second life, is the fact that Second Life grants you intellectual property rights on anything you create within the site, so it becomes a commodity. There are people who claim to make enough money on second life to live off it. I am not on second life, because my current internet settings are not up to the site's minimum requirements, so I can't give you first hand experience there, but me2everyone seems to also aim at granting users intellectual property rights.
