what's with black?

last christmas, i gave a friend a black towel. but she took it as if it has a bad omen. she said she hasn't used it until now because she's afraid to use the black towel. huh? i told her that black is elegant, just like that black dress, black shoes, black bag or black sports car! now, every time the black towel topic is brought up, i get irritated! is she just plain closed minded or was it really a bad omen? i just can't understand her way of thinking.

I don't know if it is a bad omen or not. I think a black towel is the most unhygenic towel. No it is not unhygenic because it is black but you do not come to know that it is dirty and tehnd to use it longer without washing than you would use a white towel. A white towel starts looking dirty very early and you tend to wash it sooner than you would wash a black towel. That is why it is better to use a white towel instead of a dark towel. As for bad omen, it is nonsense.

To be very honest I would say it is you being close minded to how she is thinking not the other way around!
So she sees black as an omen just because you dont does not make it wrong its what she thinks and how she feels which is obviously important.
So really if you think she is close minded then so are you for failing to understand her way of thinking!
