I hate my computer! I'm running Win XP Media Center which I love but most of the programs on it don't work. I was renting it from Colortyme and paid it off last Nov. and ever since then it developed more problems and aggravating the hel* out of me. The good thing is that they will fix any problems for a year with no charge to me. The day before I leave for my vacation I'm dropping it off to them and hopefully when I am back home it will be running in tip top shape. I never get the "blue screen" but everything is sooooo slow to load. I have an anti virus program that I paid for and it says I have no viruses. I don't load games on it because I prefer to play them online. It's crazy....sometimes something will work and other times the same thing will not work!!!
Are you happy with your pc? Are you planning on getting a new one?

Did ever format the system after you met the above problem? If not just do formatting and install the OS again, then all the problems will be solved what ever may be. Even then if it is slow, there might be problems with some of your hardware and check for them for correctness if you are able to do,call one technician and ask him to check.Running a scan with single anti virus program will not find all the virus present in a computed. Try with 2 or 3 anti virus software one by one before formatting (if you are about to do),this may result in finding the virus. Check your task manager, and see if there any unwanted process are running.Turn off the automatic updates.

even my computer gives me trouble but keep on sloving them i think XP sp2 is compactable with all the programs and you can go to windows 2000 which is even more nice and even that is more compactable with all that programs. If you want to play games XP sp2 is the best it supports all the games get one graphic card installed and you can play the games.

My PC is currently running in very good condition. If there were no anti-virus installed and a good firewall, its disk might have been formatted many times so far.
There is not any major problems in it. Since there is a large RAM installed - 1GB and fast CPU - Core 2 Duo, it doesn't give any problems in loading software or running Windows own utilities/programs.
This is a very good PC and i might not upgrade it because it fulfills the requirement for running regularly-used software, programs, etc

I am using Windows Vista and I am having a lot of problems with it. There is only one and only reason for this. That is the slow performance. The built-in hardware is also might be one of the reason I guess. I am running this Operating System for a while and I think I prefer my previous operating system which is my Windows XP of course. That operating system was very reasonable and it did had performance compared to Windows Vista. Windows Vista takes a lot of Central Processing Unit from my CPU and my Graphics Card. This is really annoying because Whenever I want to play some PC games, it does not allow me as I am running low of my graphics card. I think Windows Vista is not a great ides and the previous version of windows is still the best, which is Windows XP. About Windows Media center is that, I am not very sure of it because I had not used it before.
