This is something I've recently started doing a lot of and I never thought I would. The only people I text are my son and his g/f but I'm finding I do it a lot lately. It seems my son will respond to a text message faster than a phone call. When I call him I always get his voice mail but when I text him I get a response in a couple of minutes. Go figure huh?Do you do a lot of texting? If so, who do you text the most? Do you get a quick response?

I do a lot of texting when there are special occasions or important events. But on normal and random days, I don't text a lot. I respond sometimes if there are really important things that I need answer through text.
And usually, I just contact my friends thru online chat, facebook, multiply, etc..in short, Online communication. It's less expensive. :D

My point exactly! It seems like such a waste of minutes to text people when you can do the same thing on a computer for free.

For me it's so much easier to just hit a button to call someone than to sit there typeing out a message. That's what computers are for not phones!

No, I don't. It's hard for me to do that with my disability. I have enough troulble typing on a regular size keyboard, much less when of those small things on a phone. I'm totally more of talker than a texter.

I'm with you! I would much rather talk to someone on the phone than text back and forth. It makes no sense to me.

I guess I am what you might call a text addict! I can send anything up to 200 text messages every single day! I text about ten people regularly, and several others evry so often. Most of my friends text a lot as well, which means we can have conversations easily by texting each other.
I have unlimited texting on my phone, so the cost isn't an issue at all for me. A lot of my friends have that as well.

I call my son a text addict! That seems to be the only way to get in touch with him sometime!
