Hi!!!!
I have never listened everything what my teacher says because, some of my teachers just come and read what is there in the text book and will ask can you understand?
This is not the good way of teaching and mostly I used to sleep during those periods.
But some teachers will be really dedicated to their work and will teach clearly such that I understand .This makes me interesting.
Come on friends start sharing your views regarding this topic...

yeah. i was bored to in elementary and high school. teachers dont really teach, just wasted my time. i used to end up dreaming instead. then when i got home, i would just follow the examples in the textbook.

It depends on the teacher's style of teaching. If they are just reading from the textbook or notes, I don't pay attention, but if they are adding to what is already there, then I listen more attentively.

Whether they are boring or interesting I still listen to them. It has been my nature to be attentive to the teacher oe anyone doing a discourse on certain topics. Even dull teachers may say something interesting, even if only one word or one sentence. Sometimes this helps in understanding the whole topic. Many of us pre-judged the lecturer resulting in a loss of knowledge.
all the best,

listening is how we learn n school. reading alone will do no good especially to some topics that the professor need to discuss in detail. reference books are just to hard to understand without any explanation from someone who knows the about it, and the way to how that knowledge is by listening.
i personally need to be attentive whenever there is a professor discussing in front of the class, not only to listen but to show respect as well. that's the basic rule when someone is talking in front of the class. also, there are certain topic that are not included in books and what the professors are trying to tell us came from real life experiences which will greatly help us in the near future.

Hi friend!
Yeah I listen to teachers, those who actually teach interestingly. Though each teacher has a different way in teaching, the job of theirs is to gain attraction from the students, many are not like this, they fail to capture the hearts of students.
My favorite teacher all time is my computer sir! Excellent he is.. really hats off to him. very ideal way of teaching. He will take the class very interestingly.
Hope every one get staffs like hime

Most people tend to say that when teachers just give lectures that they cannot pay attention and often fall asleep and don't remember what the teacher said, but for me its a lot easier to just listen and take notes then to write notes off of the board.
