is there any person who knows of any affordable ways to get published?

i've been writing for a lot of years now and have tried several times to get published,however all i ever managed to do was get published 12 times under the conditions that rather than payment i recieve entry to competitions.my writing style is very unorthodox and the few publishers i've found that are willing to publish for a percentage of your profit rather than an upfront payment didnt feel that my material had a market,i obviously disagree bot can find no managable way to get to print.any advice welcomed thanx

Didn't feel that my material had a market! is the key phrase in this post. There are many free posting places on the web, I'd suggest going there first to do a test and see what kind of response you get,try this as a research project to prove to yourself if they are right or if (as you hope) you are right.
