using any platform of computer which os do you prepare for daily task (helpful)?

using any platform of computer which O/S (operating system) do you prepare to use? choices are DOS (i think this one still an operating system), linux(kubuntu,ubuntu,xubuntu), windows, or osx(am i right)? i don't know if their is another O/S, if their is just include that in this topic.

I think its better to use WINDOWS XP2...its good and if you have a good configuration and if you are little bit perfect in Linux then it is better to use Ubuntu or Susi. Even you can use VISTA.
