film dvds are more appealing to me...having the rich sound and the crisp video provides a total entertainment experience...

I like film dvds but I also want to have some collections of music dvds (concerts) like that of Rod Steward, elton john and carole king and a few local artists here. I started collecting film dvds a year ago and wants to have both in my collection.

hi. i love more music dvds. u can play them any time and go to the songs u like best and it'll give u a sense of satisfaction unlike films wherein u'l just have to finish it from beginning til the end. u have to see it and listen at the same time to get the most out of the film. but in music, u can just close your eyes and transport yourself to wherever you want.

I really enjoy music dvds. I think I prefer them over the film dvd's, although I have both. The nice thing about the music dvd's is that I never get tired of seeing them and I don't have to watch all the time because I still hear the music. After seeing the film dvd's once or twice, I don't want to see them any more for a long time.

Although I have lots of movie DVDs, I do have a preference really for music DVDs (concerts etc). My reason is mainly because concerts can be watched and enjoyed a number of times, either complete or just individual sections of the performance. With movies, though I enjoy them, after a couple of views (in most cases) I have usually had enough.....
Because of this I find that music videos are usually better value.
