Do you beleive in karma?

If karma exists what did i do to deserve what happened lately,had to sit up with a student who took e tablets of her own free will in case she choked in her sleep so didnt get to bed til 3/4am, friends boyfriend had to go to A and E because he was spitting up blood and had to spend 7 hours with her in the waiting area, all my uni classes this year are pretty much first thing in the morning and I have to stay in student accomodation which is really annoying otherwise I would miss class altogether and my boyfriend just broke up with me all in the same friday-friday week. I am abslutely wrecked and dont know why I deserve any of this. Talk about a bad week, what are other peoples thoughts on this?

My dear chaobreeder, I am so sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time lateley. Karma is considered a form or pay back for people who do bad and it comes back to them. It seems what you have gone through is no karma, but just unfortunate events. If anything, about your friend, this is proving to her that you are indeed a friend, anyone not so would have just walked away and not cared, but you stuck around, you gave up precious sleep time and I am sure your nerves were a little weary, I applaud you for being strong enough to see her through it. You don't deserve any of this, no one does, but if anything, this is proving to you just how much of a strong person you are. I say keep your chin up, the boyfriend is just not the one meant for you, think of it as a stepping stone to the right person in your future, take what you have learned from that relationship and use it for your own good. Be true to yourself and never change who you are for anyone.

Haha this week wasn't much better was diagnosed with serious tonsillitis and am now on 3 types of medication, I suppose I did get to know the boys in the flat a few doors down from us though and one guy seems to like me as he walked me back to my flat after playing guitar hero and lips on their xbox360 and shared half a grape fruit with me. Total randomness though lol.

Karma is what exactly, has always been my question. Granted I know what the dictionary states but what is it really. I believe if I am in a bad mood, others in a bad mood will come into my immediate experience and if i hold a good thought well then karma is good to me. You be the judge and juror, no one else.

Yes,i do believe in Karma.For achieving something in our life,we have to work hard.Hard work is the golden key that opens the all door to success.

Hi chaobreeder 16...its real sad to know what you have gone though lately and I wish you that you have a good week this time. All of us go through ups and downs in life, so dont get upset. Basically Karma is a concept in hinduism where good deeds are appreciated & bad deeds comes back to the person in some other form. Some believe that the affects of karma are there every time you take birth (hindus believe in rebirths)..so if you did some bad deeds in one lifetime..it may come back to you in some other lifetime. Sadly,as per the concept, when it comes back to you..you wont be knowing what bad deed you committed in some other lifetime. Its a bit complex..so I suggest stop thinking and concentrate on one day at a time. Things will brighten up... :)
