do you wear make up?

February 1, 2009 3:45pm CST
I am a girl, (despite what some of you may think) and I do like to look like a girl. I'm not a bimbo, but I do like to try and look nice (even if I dont succeed!) I wear foundation, I dye my hair (I have a grey streak, I'm only 24!) Wear eye make up, lip gloss (i'm no good at lipstick, I try to get lips like Angelina Jolie and end up with lips like Ronald McDonald) I even wear fake nails as my nails are very crap. Some people dont wear any make up at all, thats fair enough, your choice. Are you one of them? Or do you wear the make up? Do you wear much? just a little? or none?

Yes, I do wear makeup, but not a lot. Just to put some color on my face, I really don't want to look pale all day long. I always go for the natural look -- use a little pressed powder, blush, curl my lashes then put a little lip gloss.

For me it's not so much because I want to hide the way I look that I wear make up, it's that I want to enhance the way I look. Women are very fortunate to have this tradition at their finger tips. It's our right and privilege to be colorful and beautiful and make up is just a part of that great tradition. I love it and I feel lucky to be a woman and all that that entails! I will always wear makeup and enjoy how to enhances my beauty even as it fades.

I wear a little bit of foundation and some eye liner and mascara very lightly only when I go out. Otherwise I just wear foundation. What's the point in looking good when you work on a ranch and a farm? lol

Well, I adore simplicity and am not much of a makeup user. I just wear light shade lipstick and eyeliner. But for a very formal occasion, I do wear heavy makeup using foundation, blusher, mascara, eyeshadow and dark shade lipstick as I don't want to look out of place in formal parties.

much easier!

I only wear makeup when I'm going out or having people over. Then it's just a little blush, liner and lipstick. Back when I lived in the states I wore it all, of the time. Now that I live in Mexico, the foundation would just run off of my face! I don't even do my hair much anymore, just keep it layered and let the humidity curl it.

I am a girl too. But I wear just a little make up. I just wear some eye black and lip gloss. Because I think too much make up can destroy my skin. I prefer natural products and methods to make me look nice and healthy.

thats cool.

I don't like makeup nor do I wear it. I don't think its healthy for the skin and I think it looks fake. If I where to wear makeup it would be very light. I like to look as natural as possible.

make up nowadays can be good for your skin.

I absolutely love getting ready and doing my make-up. That's one thing I always get compliments on. I love MAC eyeshadow and I always match with my outfit. I used to be a heavy eye liner girl, but these days I'm only wearing liquid on the top. I don't wear foundation. Just a tiny bit of bronzer, blush, mascara, eyeshadow, liquid liner and I put a tiny bit of brown powder onto my eyebrows so they look neater.

excellent. sounds time consuming. You are lucky not to need foundation.

I wear makeup when I go out. But when I'm just here at home, I didn't wear any. I didn't try to wear fake nails because I want my nails short.

I do wear makeup. I never did until about 5 yrs ago. Now I wear foundation, eye liner, mascara, foundation, blush and usually lipstick when I go out of the house. I know what you mean about ronald mcdonald lips! My sister gets that when she puts lipstick on. It like bleeds onto her skin! I also dye my hair, but I am 45. If I didn't I fear that I would be totally grey!

bleedin lipstick, I bet thats a good look!

I am a boy, so i don't understand why girls go on for so much of make-up. One obvious reason can be to impress the boys around them. Any how i like to groom myself. Yes to impress girls and obviously i take care of my 5 girl friends, Ya i know boys will be boys. None of the 5 knows that i have other 4 girl friends. I have a good muscular body. I regularly change the dressing style with the current fashion, i like to gel my hair and get different looks. I like to have different style on my face, i were a small circular and round ring in my left ear. Together i say i try to be as sexy as possible to girls, so that they get attracted to me. I do have 5 girlfriends, but i must say one thing is also true till date 94 girls have proposed me. I think even you will get impress if you meet me. Bcoz you are also a girl of age 24. Who knows even you can become my girl friend. Ya just chill I know i am flirting. Now don't mark my response negative. One of my girl-friend is of age 23. Bye, TC.

With respect, I am not easily impressed, epecially by boys because I am a lesbian.

being a guy, i rarely wear any type of makeup. however, i don't mind wearing eyeliner. i looks okay and sometimes you can't even tell i have it on. however, when i used to perform with my little choir on stage, we would wear some blush and some dark lipstick so that we wouldn't look like zombies on stage. as long as it wasnt too much, i'm okay with it. i also prefer not to have my girlfriend wear too much. i don't want to touch her cheek and end up ruining her makeup. i've seen girls who had layers of make up on and it just looks disgusting in my opinion

make up on stage is cool.

I don't wear make up while at home, but when I go out I usually wear a sunscreen which is also a day cream, face powder, a little blush, lipstick (i'm good at it lol), lipgloss, masacra and a lil eyeshadow. I normally don't use a foundation. I like to look fresh and non greasy. I don't tend to look heavy on make up either and I can do it in 5-6 min flat :)

I do wear make up, I do not feel comfortable to go out without makeup... I do normally wear full make up, well... I am not sure the definition of a lot or not a lot make up. I do full eye makeup: eye brows, eyeshadow, eyeline, & mascara. I put foundation on but I use color that match my skin tone, I use liquid fondation first that I put dry powder on top. I use blush and lipgloss. In my opinion, using make up that look natural on you is the best, try not to over do it, you can have a full make up but look natural.... e.g. use natural eye shadow color, if your skin is white, try to use light pink or goldie color. I personally do not like fake nails, I mean the ones look really long and fake... I feel it looks very 'cheap'. However, there are nice looking fake nails, I think as long as it is not too long (like the p**n star long fake french nails.... errrrw)

I think those look ok on some people.

i absolutely ADORE makeup... !!!!! my favorite is Urban Decay... it's really expensive, but completely worth it ! I'm addicted to glitter ! Usually, if i'm going somewhere I wear makeup.. But only if i'm going out to dinner, the movies, the club... stuff like that.. If i'm going to blockbuster.. I don't care, haha.. M

I wear minimal makeup. I dye my hair for the same reason as you…only mine started changing colour when exactly I don’t even remember…maybe college days or younger still. I don’t look good in heavy makeup. Rather I find myself pleasing with only eye-liner and some lipstick. That’s all for me.

I like to wear makeup at times because I want to look presentable. My job requires me facing a lot of people everyday and by not wearing any make up i look too plain and not so presentable. so I have to wear even a plain make up just to add up color to my face. But I don't wear that much makeup for i don't look good with too much i just wear lip gloss and a little blush. it takes practice to do it right. practice more.

I do not wear any make up when I go to the office daily. I some times use a lip gloss or sometimes I use a eye liner. This is the maximum make up I use in regular. Whenever I go out for any occassion then I Am into little more makeup. I do not like to wear make up at all.

I simply love makeup. I am a gothic girl so when I go to my gothic parties I put lots of heavy make up. But for the daily work I don´t like to put any make up. Sometimes I do to avoid my mother on my ear saying that I should put make up to look beautiful and so on. But make up is something special for me and my job right now is not special.

that makes sense.

I don't put any make up. Actually i don't know how to use them. I've only ever tried an eye liner and lip gloss. So i wear none now although i might like some help with this sort of thing. My face is not fit for lipstick because i don't have the sort of mature face. I don't wear fake nails cos i like how my nails look. I think they look pretty good hehe. As for dyeing my hair, i think just highlights would be good.

try lipgloss, thats not as noticeable as lipstick.

i don't but my wife does! she never leaves the house without putting any blush and lipstick. she loves the pinkish and the natural glow. but at night, whenever we go out for a dinner date, she puts on a red lipstick for a more dramatic effect....whatever.
2 Feb 09
none for you then?
