Those with bad eye site.Do you perfer glasses or contacts?

I prefer glasses, I think today we are very lucky there are so many gorgeous glasses around they are actually can be a fashion statement, I think people can look better in glasses than without, I am not sure i could cope with contact lenses at all and surgery would be a definite no no for me...

I prefer my contact lenses. Although, I do wear my glasses when I need to. The reason I prefer my contacts is that I feel like I'm caged in, especially when I'm in my work uniform. I have to wear a hat when I'm working, and my glasses enclose my face.

I have been wearing glasses for many years. I am very phobic about anyone or anything touching my eyeball, including myself. I could never wear contacts for this reason. I won't even go discuss laser surgery, it makes me sort of sick to my stomach even to think about it. They would have to have me so tanqualized to even try.

same here.i wear both too.at hoe, i will wear my specs and when i go out,i war contact lenses.i am mostly exercising daily so i need contact lens for convenience.i will not go for the laser surgery thing because if the whole thing goes wrong, you will lose your eyesight for life and that is a chance i am not going to gamble on.

I am also too scared to do the surgery. I have both glasses and contacts. I love my contacts...or I should say I loved them. Now I can only wear them for a few hours before they start to make my eyes burn and I have to take them out. So, I'm about to get some more up to date glasses as my prescription is about three years old and I'm sure I need an adjustment...sigh.

I'm scared of laser eye surgery too! I prefer the way I look in contacts, so when I go out or am dressing up for some reason, I wear them. When I'm just running errands or doing things at home, I wear glasses. I also wear glasses to work because I work night shift and I feel like my eyes get dry overnight when I'm wearing contacts.

I never tried contacts, I don't like the idea of sticking my finger in my eye, I am just not good with that sort of thing. Glasses seem to be a bit easier for me. I only wear them when I have to as well, like when I am in class, and definitely when I am driving, no where else really, unless if I am watching a movie and I am sitting far away. My bad eyesight really does not hold me back.

definitely glasses. i think glasses makes me look more intelligence and educated LOL just kidding, the main reason woulbe because it is easy to use. not like contacs, people sometimes need to struggle for 10-15 minutes only to put the lens.

I have been wearing glasses since 9 years old. I won't try or use contact if I had to! First I wouldn't be able to put contacts in! Just the thought of putting something on my eye freaks me out when I think about it!
