hello mylotter friends...I missed mylotting, but was so busy. Its almost February 14-hearts day...How are you spending it? For some people.February 14 will just be any other regular day,but for most people,it is going to be a special day. For me,it is very special-for the past 10 years or so,my husband and I have been celebrating valentines with our 2 kids...for the reason that, when they reach the age that I can no longer keep them,I would be sure that I spent all special occassions with them. My daughter is now 17 and my son 16, very soon, they will have their own dates,so while they are both with us,valentines is spent with them. Of course,my macho man(big tummy,LOL) gives me pretty flowers and bring us to dinner. But this time,Im spending,I will bring the 3 of them to Pearl Farm resort, Samal Island City in Davao. Its going to be great. Although,Valentines doesnt mean one has to go far or go to fancy restaurants, its enough that we value the love given to us. Enjoy Life...

I will not be alone on Valentine's Day. I have the company of a few thousand banana plants growing in my farm, not to talk about the peanuts. Cheers!!!

Lollipopicecream, you tell me where to send them, I will make sure you get a bunch every time I harvest. Chingbeem, I am responsible for 1000 mango trees just waiting for me to work my magic and make them fruit. Cheers to you both.

LOL-that would be cool,at least the bananas and peanuts, wont be asking for an expensive bouquet of roses and an expensive dinner...we too have a farm...mangoes,mangoes,every where...my husband planted them almost 10 years ago.around 200 trees...they bear fruits now...have fun with the bananas and peanuts...

I'll probably be spending it at home, with my parents :p I don't know what else to do. The friends I have who are in town are not single, so they'll be with their partners. So I think I'll just do what I normally do each day, or maybe do something out of the ordinary as a "treat" to myself.

Years ago it was a bigger deal but in later years we have not celebrated Valentine's Day in the traditional way. We have a child so a romantic dinner is out of the question. We will probably do something together as a family.

Wow I love this topic! My husband and I really wished on having a lover's trip to Bohol. I even had a romantic place in mind already, it is the Alona Palm beach in the Island of Panglao. The place suits right for that romantic date. Due to my busy class schedule, we can't do the lover's trip but i have an idea in mind that would still in for the Valentine's day. Since we will be staying for that special day, we may just prepare our candlelight dinner together and prepare all the lovesong cds we have. I'm sure our Valentine's day will still be special as we will be celebrating it for the first together.
