is it normal to be still afffected when your ex is dating someone already?

its been 5 months now since we broke up our relationship did not run so smooth he was like a kid a player, he would normally be the guy who now you and now you don't we broke up and verbally agreed it was over last august after our monthsary we only lasted for a few months, were supposed to get back together last holloween but
he still did not show up, and then i said to myself i will move on he was seing this girl who he is now happy with but they are not commited i had a boyfriend after him but it didnt work out, and i hate it everytime he talks about her and he mentions all the sweet things, sometimes also feels the same when i go out with other guys is it normal an did this happen to you?

It depends. If you are still in love with your ex partner or still feels for him/her then it is normal to feel like that. In my part, I didn't mind when he dated someone else since I don't have feelings for him anymore when we broke up.

There are seldom goodbyes that really mean goodbye even when the ride was not smooth. I suppose this is just part of the whole dance of the planets which we participate in. Cheers!!
