My dreams have changed since i've had my children. I no longer worry about that the dreams i used 2 have. Now i worry about making theirs come true. :)

I am not even close to fulfilling my dreams. As a matter of fact, I have pretty much had to start my life over in the last year since being the victim of a business scam that ended up costing me my job and $13,000. I have pretty much had to put my dreams of getting my own business going and getting out of debt on hold while I struggle from day-to-day to merely pay the bills. I am getting deeper in debt now, because the money I am making at work is not enough to pay all that I owe. I am hoping to get a really good tax-return back this year so that I can use it to try to pay some things off and ease the burden. I am looking for a better job, or even a second job, but with so many people being laid off right now, and the fact that a lot of companies are not hiring right now, I am not having any luck at all in my job search. I have heard that Obama is planning to send out another "economic stimulus" check to everyone. I am really hoping that he does, and I am hoping that he sends out a pretty good amount. I need all the help I can get right now...

I don't think we should regret the dreams we've had, even if we haven't achieved them. I think if we remember them, we should try to remember them positively, such as: "Wow, this is what I dreamed I was capable of doing!" And maybe dream of something else that you might be capable of doing.
I haven't fulfilled all my childhood dreams, but that's okay. Some of them might still be possible, but if they don't happen, then if I could just do something related to that dream in some way, I'd be happy. I know I had a dream of being published..it may have been publishing a novel, or just being published...and I accomplished that. It wasn't anything major, nor was it a novel, but it was a publication, and that was good enough for me. My other big dream was being a singer, and I don't know if that's possible...or if I'd even WANT to be a singer (celebrity-type), because I don't like that lifestyle. I think I'd like to be a "professional singer" of sorts like doing songs for commercials, or singing at parties. For now, I just sing at certain functions and when I'm by myself, and I still enjoy it.
